POOR KNIGHTS IS, NORTHLAND

The
largest cave at the Poor Knights. Charter boats usually take
passengers into the cave and test the acoustics. Start down the wall
at the entrance and work across the sand. Look for lizardfish that
blend in with the sand until you light them up. Banded coral shrimps
and nudibranchs live on the walls. There’s usually a ball of blue
maomao near the back of the cave. Great site for a night dive.
