Arid Cove
offers something for everyone. The steeps walls outside the archway
drop to sponge gardens at 25m. Prolific fish life, especially
demoiselles and in summer kingfish feed amongst the baitfish. Look
for large blue moki often hanging in the archway. The walls are a
myriad of sponges, solitary corals, bryozoans, hydroids and anemones
with half-banded perch on the ledges.
