The Waikato is a
really interesting wreck dive - allow at least two dives to see all
of the ship. The bow with its 4.5 inch guns lies on its side about
10m from the main part of the ship. Best to start deep and work your way back
up. The bridge is at 12m and the observation platform at 8m. Snapper,
maomao and kingfish abound and the ship has a coating of invertebrate
life that changes on every visit.
