A
good dive if there’s no swell. All sides of the island have jumbled
boulders with tons of colourful growth and a few crayfish deep
underneath. Big red moki abound and schools of demoiselles, butterfly
perch and tarakihi appear under the blue maomao. Often kingfish on
the exposed side of the island. A good dive on the way back to
Whangaroa from the Warrior.
