DEEP WATER COVE

Tritonia Nudibranch
On the north side of the Cape Brett Peninsula, NORTHLAND
Depth: 0-35m
Good dive down a rocky wall. Kelp covered in the top 20m with leatherjackets, red moki, numerous wrasses and drummer. At 25m there are sponge gardens, a few crays in the holes and some large yellow moray eels. Tropical invaders like grey knife fish, cowrie shells and nudibranchs appear. Big baitfish schools in summer and some nice kingfish.
